David Quimby formed Acadia Mortgage Company in June 2004 along with Dawn Difrederico, with the vision of building a team of local, successful people who would have the experience and integrity needed to truly make a difference.  Within months Acadia Mortgage Company had become a major provider of mortgage services in the Bangor area.  Now, three years later, there are no signs of slowing as the team David and Dawn have created at Acadia Mortgage Company continually meets and surpasses each and every goal that has been set.  As the company continues to grow and expand, David instills his philosophy of creating a lasting impression on each and every customer in his business everyday.  He ensures each member of his company understands and carries out their job with the same pride and high ethical standards which the company was founded on.

Prior to forming Acadia Mortgage Company, David spent 10 successful years in sales and customer service focusing the last 5 years in the mortgage business.  A Bangor native, David now resides in Brewer where he enjoys boating and spending time with his son, Alex and his chocolate lab, Chipper.

Carl Willouhby spent the past 28 years working in sales and finance in the Bangor area before becoming a professional mortgage lender with Acadia Mortgage Company.  Living and working in Maine his entire life, Carl says he realizes how important it is to make every penny of your hard-earned dollar count.  He takes great pride in being able to meet the needs of his clients and welcomes the opportunity to work with customers with all types of financial situations.

In his free time, Carl spends time with his wife of 30 years, as well as his daughter and his 9 month old grandson.  He enjoys music as well as working outside flower gardening.  He looks forward to working with you to find the loan program that work’s best for you.

Jerry came to Acadia Mortgage shortly after its beginning, bringing with him over a decade of business experience.  For 10 years, Jerry owned his own business which he followed with a seven year career in truck sales.  As a loan officer for the Acadia team, Jerry has enjoyed great success in working with his loyal clientele and their referrals who appreciate his hard work and diligence in meeting their mortgage needs.  Jerry was promoted to Senior Loan Officer in June of 2005.

Born and raised in the Bangor area, Jerry continues to enjoy life in Central Maine.  Aside from spending time with his wife Denise and children Jerry, Nicole and Erica, Jerry enjoys snowmobiling, skiing and building furniture.

Kenny Pinkham joined the Acadia Mortgage Team in October of 2004 and has been acting maintenance supervisor ever since.  Kenny’s hard work ethic and trustworthy personality has made him an irreplaceable asset to the company.

Kenny is a lifelong resident of Bangor where he is well known and can often be seen walking town or working at the local bakery.  In his spare time he enjoys keeping up with the NASCAR standings and rooting for his favorite drivers Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kane.

Greg joined the team at Acadia Mortgage in November 2006.  He brought with him many years of working with and for people, with a 16 ½ year career in law enforcement.

In that 16 ½ year career, Greg moved up the ladder, starting as a patrol officer for 3 years, then he was promoted to patrol sergeant for 7 years, and then he was promoted to, and spent the last 6 ½ of his law enforcement years as a detective.  It was Greg’s life long love of people, and life long desire to help people that led him to his career in law enforcement.

It is this same desire, and love of people that led Greg to Acadia Mortgage.  Knowing the owner’s of Acadia Mortgage, and believing strongly in their motto, where “true integrity counts”, Greg’s new career as a loan officer at Acadia Mortgage began.

Say’s Greg, “I still get to meet new people, and work with new people every day, but in a much more positive situation”.  As a loan officer, the end result is “much more positive, and I get to see people happy as we help them meet there financial needs”.

In his spare time, Greg enjoys being with his family “first and foremost”.  He and is wife Julie have two sons, Karl and Wyatt, and their dog “Tug”.  As a family, they enjoy boating on beautiful Penobscot bay.  Greg also enjoys his fitness workouts, as well his love for, and playing the game of hockey.  Greg plays both winter and summer hockey on the Acadia Mortgage sponsored hockey team, where they play in Brewer as part of the adult hockey leagues.
